I can have a look at the kit I have, although only one of my DVRs still works. Email reversatronics at gmail dot com and let me know what you'd need. I'm actually working on brand-new, from-scratch firmware for dvrs (fiddling with a nightowl zeus-dvr [uses the raysharp_dvr binary], going to buy a newer one from samsung based on a similar chipset as I don't think there are too many of those nightowl's in use in the wild anymore). Don't suppose you'd be willing to supply information on whatever devices you have handy?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02514314893887426443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1455363989995898060.post-90416931574227209472016-09-23T21:02:32.793+01:002016-09-23T21:02:32.793+01:00I use xjuan h264 network dvr, anbody know what por...I use xjuan h264 network dvr, anbody know what port for that dvrSaifulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04869086386881222285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1455363989995898060.post-18820508755654944692016-09-23T21:02:19.470+01:002016-09-23T21:02:19.470+01:00I use xjuan h264 network dvr, anbody know what por...I use xjuan h264 network dvr, anbody know what port for that dvrSaifulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04869086386881222285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1455363989995898060.post-66319542597839404692016-08-04T17:02:16.000+01:002016-08-04T17:02:16.000+01:00Did somebody get the Email Motion Alert working???...Did somebody get the Email Motion Alert working??? Basically at the start of the firmware is a signature string that looks something like "JUAN HI3515 R2008 FIRMWARE DESIGNED BY LAW". These didn't match and the loading routine bails at that point. I wasn't going to risk hacking the string to bypass that check just it case it screwed something else up.Billyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05937011648156027883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1455363989995898060.post-91137645518855189992014-11-20T15:28:32.395+00:002014-11-20T15:28:32.395+00:00There are people claiming they updated sunluxy DVR...There are people claiming they updated sunluxy DVRs with juantech firmware:<br />http://www.cctvforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=35141<br /><br />However i tried myself and all the time the DVR was not recognizing the firmware - so it didn't worked for me (it is a risk to update because you can end up with a bricked box)Mr. Plumberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15893509039553219976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1455363989995898060.post-16990999890331349932014-08-26T09:05:59.726+01:002014-08-26T09:05:59.726+01:00Unfortunately you can't reset the password wit...Unfortunately you can't reset the password without rewriting the firmware and that is far from straight forward. You could put the box behind a firewall and deny access to port 23 but you still have the cgi backdoor to worry about. Your options are either to ask juandvr for a firmware update (very unlikely to work) or get a better dvr.Billyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05937011648156027883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1455363989995898060.post-44809332091892139572014-08-24T12:31:24.780+01:002014-08-24T12:31:24.780+01:00thanks but i want to reset the password for my dvr...thanks but i want to reset the password for my dvr i have logged into the device through telnet...can u let me know the further process<br />Ajit Jhahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16185287831204338328noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1455363989995898060.post-78477828533499974282014-05-29T11:35:13.454+01:002014-05-29T11:35:13.454+01:00It would very useful if you can tell the actual fi...It would very useful if you can tell the actual firmware file name and where you got it from so that we can all avoid.
